Welcome to our home...
You are invited to retreat to Vale de Moses, a magical remote valley farm nestled in the stunning foothills of the Serra de Estrela mountains, central Portugal. In 2017 we were recommended by National Geographic Traveller, The Guardian, The Telegraph, OmYoga Magazine and Yoga Journal in their lists of best retreats in the world.
Come to practice yoga daily in a wooden and glass shala floating above herb gardens, walk miles of endless paths in the surrounding pine forests, swim and mud bathe in rivers, breath pure mountain air, eat deliciously fresh veggie meals, have a healing treatment or 2, star gaze and then sleep deeply each night in comfy rustic stone cottages or Soulpad belle tents.
Retreat into nature. Soulfully reconnect with our planet and with your own body. This warm invitation to deepen your love affair with yoga, is open for everyone, travelling alone or with friends, new to yoga or practicing for decades. Most of our retreats include morning and afternoon classes, a health consultation, massage/acupuncture treatment, 3 nourishing daily meals and a trip to the nearby Rio Zêzere.
Prices from 800€ to 1200€ per person per week. 10% discount for returning guests, groups or a 2 week stay.
Our 2018 Retreat Calendar shows live availability for each retreat. Come and Go for travel advice. Welcome Pack to prepare for your stay with us. The Nourish e-Cookbook featuring some of our Ayurvedic menus. The magical story of how our beloved dog Moses helped us find this remote valley in 2007 is on our old travel blog. Do also read latest Guest reviews and see their photos on Insta and FB @valedemoses.
